Our Story.

Sweet Magnolia isn’t just a name — it’s a tribute to two very special souls who’ve shaped our hearts and our home.

Hazel Rae and Magnolia James, our beloved rescue pups, are the inspiration behind it all. Hazel, full of sweetness with just a touch of spice, gave us the “Sweet.” Magnolia, our gentle and graceful Maggie girl, brought us the “Magnolia.” Together, they've taught us that love, patience, and a little bit of rescue magic can transform anything into something beautiful.

They remind us every day that beauty comes from love — and that’s what Sweet Magnolia is all about.

About Us

Taylen Bullock

Taylen has always had a natural eye for design and a deep love for planning. Whether she was organizing her own birthday party or mapping out five-year life goals, everything had a place — and Taylen always knew exactly where it belonged.

A proud University of Wyoming alumna, Taylen was also a spirited member of the UW Cheerleading Team. Her experience on the sidelines taught her the value of energy, teamwork, and poise — qualities she now brings into every event she helps create.

Currently, she’s a dedicated Special Education teacher with a Master’s degree in Special Education and is on track to complete her second Master’s — all by the age of 23. After planning her own wedding in 2024, Taylen discovered her true passion for event planning and design.

Now, she’s turning that passion into something more — and she’s doing it alongside her biggest supporter: her mom, Barb. Together, this mother-daughter duo is excited to bring warmth, creativity, and intentional detail to every celebration.

Barb Robertson

Barb brings over 20 years of event planning experience, a deep love for people, and a heart for creating meaningful moments. Whether it was school fundraisers, community events, or private celebrations, Barb has always been the go-to person when something special needed to be brought to life.

She’s spent years working behind the scenes at Cheyenne Frontier Days, helping organize one of the largest and most iconic Western celebrations in the country. Her work there sharpened her ability to manage large-scale logistics while never losing sight of the small details that make an event truly memorable.

One of Barb’s favorite planning experiences? Helping design and coordinate her daughter Taylen’s wedding in 2024. That special milestone inspired both of them to take their shared passion to the next level — and Sweet Magnolia was born.

As a mom, mentor, and now business partner, Barb is thrilled to bring her creativity, calm presence, and years of experience to every event she touches.
